WWE Friday Night Smackdown 8/9/13
Smackdown opens up with a new theme! “Born to Rise” by Redlight ! The fans are on their feet as Michael Cole, John Bradshaw Layfield, and Josh Mathews welcome the fans to the show. They preview tonight’s Main Event! Christian and Rob Van Dam team up to take on Alberto Del Rio and Fandango! The theme of the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship hits! Christian walks out onto the stage to a huge pop! As Christian makes his way down to the ring, the announce team previews the World Heavyweight Championship match at SummerSlam. Christian enters the ring and grabs a microphone. Christian says there is no greater feeling to walk out onto the stage and hear the roar from the crowd! The crowd pops big for him. And in two weeks, he’ll get to do it with the World Heavyweight Championship around his waist! The crowd explodes into cheers. Christian jokes and says he can finally get his “one more match!” He goes to say something else, but he is cut off by the theme of the World Heavyweight Champion! Alberto Del Rio appears on the stage with a huge grin on his face. The fans greet him with thunderous boos. Alberto Del Rio begins to clap at Christian. He has a microphone in hand. He tells Christian congratulations! He finally gets that one more match! Del Rio laughs and tells him he is going to need more than one match though, because there is no way he will win at SummerSlam. The crowd boos Del Rio. Alberto Del Rio tells Christian that he is willing to give him a preview of SummerSlam tonight when they square off in the Tag Team Main Event tonight. Christian tells him that he is willing to make a preview of SummerSlam right now! He tells Del Rio to come down and get in the ring. Alberto Del Rio laughs and says he isn't even dressed to compete yet as he points out that he is wearing a suit. Christian tells Del Rio that is okay if he doesn't want to fight yet, he can wait until tonight’s Main Event. But there is someone who wants to fight Del Rio right now! Alberto Del Rio looks confused, but he is blindsided from behind as Ricardo Rodriguez hits Del Rio with his metal bucket in the back! Alberto Del Rio goes down, but quickly gets backs up. Del Rio looks furious as Ricardo begins yelling at him in Spanish. The announcers plug in how Alberto Del Rio unleashed a brutal assault on his ring announcer on this past Monday’s RAW. Alberto Del Rio starts toward Ricardo, and Ricardo yells for Del Rio to turn around. Alberto Del Rio turns and Christian lays him out with a spear on the entrance stage! Christian stands over Alberto Del Rio as the fans erupt into cheers! Christian walks over to Ricardo Rodriguez and raises his hand. Christian’s theme hits and he and Ricardo head backstage. Smackdown goes to commercial with Alberto Del Rio trying to get up.
~Commercial~
Back live! Replays are shown of what transpired moments ago between Christian, Alberto Del Rio, and Ricardo Rodriguez. Cameras cut backstage and Alberto Del Rio is backstage throwing a fit. He is yelling at everyone that he feels is getting in his way. He shoves a backstage worker to the ground, but stops dead in his tracks as he runs into Smackdown General Manager, Vickie Guerrero. Alberto Del Rio tells her that she had better do something about what just happened. Del Rio says Ricardo had no rights to come out and attack him like that. Vickie looks a bit confused then asks Del Rio if he had the right to attack Ricardo this past Monday on RAW. Alberto Del Rio says that doesn’t matter! Vickie smirks at Del Rio and laughs. Alberto Del Rio looks furious and doesn't say a word. He storms off with Vickie looking on. The cameras cut to ringside and the bell sounds for the opening contest!
Cody Rhodes vs. Wade Barrett
The theme of Cody Rhodes hits and the fans pop as he walks out onto the stage. As he makes his entrance, the announce team talks about the huge opportunity Cody has coming up in two weeks at SummerSlam. He goes one on one with his former best friend, and tag team partner, Damien Sandow. Sandow is Mr. Money in the Bank, but that may not be come SummerSlam! The contract is up for grabs in two weeks! Wade Barrett’s theme hits and he walks out onto the stage looking furious and embarrassed because of what happened on RAW. As he makes his way down to the ring replays are shown from this past Monday’s RAW when Daniel Bryan held Barrett down and shaved his beard in the corporate make over segment. Wade Barrett enters the ring and the bell sounds. Before Cody and Barrett even go after one another, the theme of Damien Sandow hits! Damien Sandow walks out to a ton of boos. Sandow walks down to ringside then takes a seat as a guest on commentary. Sandow starts yelling at Cody and he gets his attention. Cody Rhodes tells Sandow to come get in the ring now, but he is quickly attacked by Barrett! Wade Barrett begins to beat Cody Rhodes down, but Cody comes back throwing fists. He backs Barrett into the corner and goes to Irish whip him, but Barrett counters and throws Cody to the opposite corner instead. Barrett runs at him, but Cody gets a boot up in Barrett’s face! Cody Rhodes climbs up the turnbuckle and comes down with an axe handle! He takes Barrett down and goes for the cover! 1, 2, kick out! Wade Barrett pulls himself up by the ropes. Cody runs at him and clotheslines him over the top rope! Barrett gets up on the outside and Cody Rhodes thrusts himself over the top rope! He splashes onto Wade Barrett! Cody Rhodes gets to his feet and he yells out to the crowd. The crowd gives him a big pop. Damien Sandow stands up out of his chair and starts taunting Cody Rhodes. Cody Rhodes begins to tell him to bring it on, and after a few moments, Wade Barrett takes advantage of the distraction again! He grabs Cody Rhodes and throws him head first into the steel post! Cody goes down. Wade Barrett lifts him up and rolls him into the ring. He quickly hooks the leg! 1, 2, kick out! Wade Barrett looks at the referee and shakes his head. He lifts Cody up and goes for a scoop slam. Cody slips over Barrett’s shoulders and runs to the ropes. He comes back at him and Barrett grabs him out of nowhere and connects with the Winds of Change! Barrett goes for the cover! 1, 2, kick out! Wade Barrett can’t believe it. He looks up at the ceiling and takes in a deep breath. He gets to his feet and pulls his elbow pad back revealing the red! He calls for the Bull Hammer! Cody Rhodes starts to get up. Barrett goes in for the kill, but Cody ducks out of the way! He quickly leaps and spring boards off the top rope! He comes back and hits the Disaster kick! Barrett looks out of it as he goes down. Cody Rhodes hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!
Winner by pin fall: Cody Rhodes!
Cody Rhodes is announced the victor and he has his hand raised in victory. Replays air of the finish. Damien Sandow doesn’t look happy as he looks on from the announce table. Cody Rhodes signals that he is going to win the contract from Sandow at SummerSlam. Sandow yells back that he won’t. Cody Rhodes celebrates his victory as Smackdown goes to commercial.

Back live! Kaitlyn is shown backstage warming up for her match later tonight. She is approached by Dolph Ziggler. They greet each other and Ziggler asks if she is ready for tonight. Kaitlyn says she is ready to get her hands on AJ Lee tonight. Ziggler nods his head in agreement. Kaitlyn says AJ Lee takes things to far if Dolph hasn't noticed already. Dolph Ziggler lets out a small laugh and says trust me he knows. Kaitlyn and Dolph Ziggler walk off together to get ready for their match tonight. As they head down the hall, AJ Lee appears around the corner with a sadistic smirk on her face. She twirls her hair and looks in the direction Ziggler and Kaitlyn went as cameras go back to ringside.
The Wyatt Family w/ Bray Wyatt vs. the Great Khali & Zack Ryder
Zack Ryder and the Great Khali are already in the ring. They look ready to compete, but the lights go out! The theme of the Wyatt Family hits and the lantern emerges on the stage. It reveals the silhouettes of Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, and Erick Rowan. Bray Wyatt leads them down to the ring. He takes a seat in his rocking chair and blows out the flame. The lights come back on and Harper and Rowan are in the ring. The bell sounds. Zack Ryder starts things off with Luke Harper. They lock up! Luke Harper quickly pulls Ryder in and hits a belly to belly side slam! Luke Harper gets on top of him and hits a heavy amount of punches. The referee begins his 5 count and Harper breaks at 4. Harper quickly gets up and drops an elbow across the chest of Ryder. He drags Zack Ryder over to the corner and tags in Erick Rowan. Erick Rowan rips his sheep mask off and enters the ring. Luke Harper Irish whips Ryder toward Rowan and Erick Rowan connects with a big boot! Instead of going for the pin, Rowan lifts Zack Ryder up by his throat. He throws Ryder toward his corner! Erick Rowan says he wants Khali! The fans pop as the Great Khali gets the tag. The Great Khali and Erick Rowan meet center of the ring. Bray Wyatt watches on with a sharp look in his eye. Rowan throws a hard right hand and Khali slowly turns his head back to him and shakes his head. Khali throws a big chop and nearly takes down Rowan! Erick Rowan falls into his corner and Luke Harper makes a blind tag without Khali noticing. Erick Rowan charges at Khali and they begin brawling. Luke Harper hops off the apron and runs to the corner where Ryder is. Harper pulls an already beaten Ryder off the apron and delivers a huge clothesline! Khali hears it and turns around. Erick Rowan grabs Khali and hits a massive back suplex! Luke Harper enters the ring as the legal man. The Great Khali starts to get up and Luke Harper levels him with a clothesline! He hooks the leg. 1, 2, 3!
Winners by pin fall: the Wyatt Family!
Luke Harper and Erick Rowan look at Bray Wyatt. He rises up from his rocking chair and confidently enters the ring. Harper and Rowan lift Khali up, and Bray Wyatt grabs him. Bray Wyatt connects with Sister Abigail on the Great Khali! Harper and Rowan push Khali out of the ring. Luke Harper grabs a microphone and hands it to Bray Wyatt. Bray Wyatt says this past Monday he was graced with a challenge like no other. At SummerSlam, Kane has challenged him to a Ring of Fire match! Bray Wyatt lets out a small laugh. Bray Wyatt asks if he is supposed to be afraid! What is to fear when he is fear himself! Bray Wyatt starts to sing out “Time is on my side!” He lets out a sadistic laugh as he drops his microphone then drops to his knees. He slowly raises his arms up to his side. The Wyatt Family stands tall in the ring as Smackdown goes to commercial.

Back live! Renee Young is standing by with the WWE Championship Money in the Bank winner, Randy Orton! Randy Orton walks into the camera shot. Renee says that this past Monday on RAW, everyone thought Randy Orton was moments away from cashing in, but the Shield prevented it from happening. Renee asks Randy what his thoughts are on that. Randy Orton says the Shield just delayed the inevitable. He talks about how he can cash the briefcase in whenever he chooses to do so. It doesn't matter who the Champion is. As for the Shield, he will get a little retribution on them tonight. Randy Orton looks into the camera and says that tonight the Shield is going to know why you don’t interfere in his business. Randy Orton walks off and the camera goes back to Renee Young. She says that later tonight Randy Orton goes one on one with WWE Tag Team Champion and Shield member, Seth Rollins later tonight!
The RAW rebound airs.
Cameras return to ringside and the bell sounds for the next contest!
Dolph Ziggler & Kaitlyn vs. Big E. Langston & Divas Champion, AJ Lee w/ Layla
Dolph Ziggler comes out first to a massive pop! Out next is Kaitlyn to a similar reaction. They look ready to compete. Big E. Langston’s theme hits and he walks out to a ton of heat! Big E. Langston waits on the stage. AJ Lee’s theme hits and boos erupt from the crowd. The Divas Champion walks out onto the stage not looking happy and she is not alone. She has Layla by her side. As AJ lee and Big E. Langston make their way down to the ring, the announce team talk about how AJ was eavesdropping Kaitlyn’s and Ziggler’s conversation earlier tonight. The bell sounds. AJ Lee and Kaitlyn start things off. The two rivals meet center of the ring and circle each other staring into one another’s eyes. AJ Lee throws a slap and catches Kaitlyn in the face. Kaitlyn fires back and slaps AJ Lee back! AJ Lee falls down and looks furious. Layla tries to get Kaitlyn’s attention. Kaitlyn starts yelling back at Layla. Layla hops onto the apron and Kaitlyn decks her with a right hand! Fans explode into cheers. Kaitlyn turns around and AJ Lee is up waiting for her. AJ kicks her in the stomach and takes her down with a face buster. AJ goes for a cover. 1, 2, kick out! AJ yells and she heads to her corner. She tags in Big E. Langston. Langston enters the ring and Kaitlyn is forced to tag in Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler enters the ring. Langston charges at him and Ziggler ducks under a clothesline. Ziggler hits a combo of shots and backs Langston into the corner. He goes to Irish whip him to the ropes, but Langston counters and sends Ziggler into the ropes instead. Ziggler ducks under a clothesline and rebounds off the ropes again. Langston dips his shoulder to go for a back body drop, but Ziggler leaps into the air and hits the Fameasser! He goes for the cover! 1, 2, kick out! Langston gets himself up in the corner and Ziggler runs at him. Ziggler goes for a monkey flip, but Big E. Langston counters and spine busters Ziggler! Big E. Langston takes a moment to regain his composure. He then goes for the cover. 1, 2, kick out! Big E. Langston yells out for the Big Ending! He hoists Ziggler up and Ziggler slips off his shoulders. Ziggler falls backward into his corner and Kaitlyn makes the tag. AJ Lee quickly enters the ring. Kaitlyn and AJ charge at each other and Kaitlyn levels her with a Spear! Kaitlyn hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!
Winners by pin fall: Kaitlyn & Dolph Ziggler!
Kaitlyn and Ziggler have little time to celebrate. Langston goes right after Ziggler! Ziggler counters him and hits the Zigzag! Big E. Langston rolls out of the ring. Layla pulls AJ Lee out of the ring. Kaitlyn and Dolph Ziggler celebrate their victory. Big E. Langston, AJ Lee, and Layla head to the back without even looking back at them.
Cameras cut backstage. Wade Barrett is shown backstage. He is flipping out about his loss earlier tonight. People are trying to calm him down, but he won’t listen. Barrett says he is of it. He is of losing. His career has been thrown totally off track. He kicks over a catering table. He suddenly stops when William Regal is shown looking on. William Regal folds his arms and looks on at Barrett. Barrett asks him what the Hell he wants. William Regal tells Wade Barrett he’d like to have a talk with him. Barrett looks confused, but he walks off with William Regal as cameras go back to ringside. Michael Cole, JBL, and Josh Mathews speculate on what William Regal wants with Wade Barrett. Hopefully more details emerge later!
WWE Tag Team Champion, Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton
Randy Orton’s theme hits and the fans erupt into cheers. As Randy Orton makes his way down to the ring, the announce team discuss if Orton did the right thing or not Monday. Should he have been more worried about cashing in, or should have he helped Daniel Bryan and John Cena. JBL says he should have been more worried about cashing in! What is more important than winning a Championship!? Nothing! Randy Orton enters the ring and holds his briefcase up high for all to see. The Shield’s theme hits. Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns are shown up in the crowd. Seth Rollins tells something to Ambrose and Reigns. They high five Rollins and turn away. Seth Rollins makes his way down to the ring alone! Rollins hops the barricade and enters the ring. The bell sounds. They circle around the ring and lock up! Seth Rollins puts Randy Orton in a headlock. Orton shoves him to the ropes. Rollins comes back and hits a shoulder block nearly knocking Orton down. Orton comes back and hits a big clothesline! Rollins goes down and exits the ring. Orton gives chase. Seth Rollins throws a right hand, but Randy Orton counters and hits one of his own! He grabs Rollins and hits his face off the ring apron. Seth Rollins falls back word and into the security wall. Orton connects with a combo of right hands before rolling Rollins back into the ring. Seth Rollins tries to get to his feet, but as he does, Randy Orton hits a kick to the gut and he connects with his signature back breaker! He goes for the cover. 1, 2, kick out! Randy Orton pulls Rollins, but and Rollins trips him up. Randy Orton hits his neck off the second rope! Seth Rollins gets the breather he needs. He gets to his feet and Orton turns to him looking a bit out of it. Seth Rollins leaps up and hits a drop kick! He goes for the cover! 1, 2, kick out! Seth Rollins pounds the mat and hops up to his feet. He taunts Randy Orton to get up. Orton gets up and Rollins hits him with a right hand. He throws him into the corner and delivers a knee to the gut. Seth Rollins back up and runs back at Orton and hits a splash in the corner! Orton stumbles out of the corner and goes down. Seth Rollins turns him over and hooks the leg! 1, 2, kick out! Seth Rollins looks at the referee and yells that it should have been 3! Seth Rollins tells Randy Orton to get up. After a few moments Orton starts getting up, and Rollins goes for Avada Kedavra! Randy Orton catches Rollin’s foot and spins him around! He goes for the RKO, but Rollins shoves him away. Seth Rollins runs and rolls Orton up! 1, 2, kick out! Both men quickly get up and Randy Orton catches Seth Rollins with his signature power slam! Both men are down! The referee begins his 10 count. Rollins and Orton start to pull themselves up. They break the count at 8! They begin to exchange blows. Seth Rollins starts to build momentum and hits shot after shot, but Orton counters and begins building his own momentum with multiple shots of his own! He leaps into the air and drop kicks Rollins down! Randy Orton hooks the leg! 1, 2, kick out! Randy Orton starts pounding his fists into the mat as he signals for the RKO! Seth Rollins gets up to his feet, and Randy Orton goes for the RKO! Rollins counters out of nowhere and spins Orton around! He connects with Avada Kedavra! Orton goes down! Rollins hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!

Seth Rollins is announced the winner and the crowd is shocked. Michael Cole, JBL, and Josh Mathews talk about the huge upset! Seth Rollins is handed his Tag Team Title and he celebrates his victory. Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns enter the ring and celebrate his victory with him. The Shield stands tall as Randy Orton looks on stunned that he lost. Coming up next the Main Event! Smackdown goes to commercial.

A promo for SummerSlam airs and we’re back live!
Main Event: World Heavyweight Champion, Alberto Del Rio & Fandango w/ Summer Rae vs. Christian & Rob Van Dam
Fandango’s theme hits! He and Summer Rae come out ball room dancing and are greeted by mostly boos. The announce team talks about what it could mean for Fandango if he is the one to pick up the victory here tonight. A win over the World Championship number one contender and Rob Van Dam would be huge! Alberto Del Rio is out next and the World Heavyweight Champion still doesn't look happy because of what happened earlier tonight. Rob Van Dam’s theme hits and he comes out to a huge pop! Out next is the number one contender for the World Heavyweight Championship! Christian comes out to a huge reaction. He enters the ring and the bell sounds. RVD starts things off with Del Rio. They lock up! Alberto Del Rio immediately goes for the Cross Arm Breaker! RVD counters and shoves him away. RVD goes for a kick to the gut, but Del Rio catches his leg. RVD turns it into a spinning wheel kick! Del Rio goes down and gets angry. He tags in Fandango. RVD looks ready to fight again as Fandango enters the ring. They circle the ring and lock up! Fandango shoves RVD away and taunts him by dancing. RVD looks confused. They lock up! Fandango throws RVD to the ropes, and he dips his shoulder for a back body drop. RVD turns and rolls over Fandango’s back! Fandango turns and RVD hits him with a spinning wheel kick! Rob Van Dam makes the tag to Christian. Christian enters the ring and Fandango runs at him! Christian connects with a hip toss! Fandango holds his back and gets up in the corner. Summer Rae tries to warn Fandango, but it is too late! RVD runs at him and monkey flips him out of the corner! RVD goes for the cover! 1, 2, kick out! Rob Van Dam runs to the ropes and comes back with the Rolling Thunder, but Fandango gets his knees up! RVD hits his back off of Fandango’s knees. Fandango crawls over and tags in Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio enters the ring and starts pounding away at Rob Van Dam. The referee has to begin a 5 count. Del Rio breaks at 4. Alberto Del Rio gets RVD up and hits a back suplex. He goes for the cover. 1, 2, kick out! Christian tries to bring RVD back into the match and the fans start up an “RVD!” chant. Del Rio puts RVD in a sleeper hold and taunts Christian. After a few moments, RVD begins fighting back to his feet and he delivers elbow after elbow to the gut of Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio releases his hold and RVD goes to hit him, but Del Rio counters. Alberto Del Rio goes for a kick to the head, but RVD counters and hits one of his own! Both men are down! They try to reach their corners. RVD reaches Christian and Del Rio reaches Fandango! Christian and Fandango enter the ring and run at each other! Christian leaps into the air and hits a cross body on Fandango! Fandango gets to his feet and Christian drops him with a clothesline. Fandango gets back up; this time Christian hits a drop kick! He goes for a cover. 1, 2, kick out! Christian claps his hands and gets the crowd going. He calls for the Killswitch! Alberto Del Rio comes in the ring and attacks Christian from behind. Rob Van Dam enters and drop kicks Del Rio out of the ring! Fandango throws Rob Van Dam out of the ring. Fandango turns around and is hit with a Spear! Christian hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!
Winners by pin fall: Christian and Rob Van Dam!
Rob Van Dam enters the ring and he and Christian begin to celebrate their victory. Summer Rae checks on Fandango. Alberto Del Rio grabs his World Heavyweight Championship and starts heading up the stage. Replays air of the finish. Del Rio talks trash and taunts Christian as he heads up the ramp. Christian signals that he is going to be the World Heavyweight Champion come SummerSlam. Smackdown goes off the air with Christian and Rob Van Dam celebrating their victory.

That was a great read! I'm loving the whole Barrett/Regal interaction. Regal helping Barrett get his career back on track is something I'd love to see so I'm definitely intrigued! Great job!

8/12/13 Preview
As seen last week, the Corporate Makeover of Daniel Bryan did not go as planned. At least not for Vince McMahon. Will there be backlash from the Chairman, or will Daniel Bryan one up him again?
WWE Tag Team Champion, Seth Rollins of the Shield scored a huge victory over Randy Orton this past Friday on Smackdown. Randy Orton has asked for a rematch and it has been granted, but to raise the stakes and deliver something fresh, RAW General Manager, Brad Maddox has made the match an Extreme Rules match!
Bray Wyatt says he is not afraid of Kane. There is just a little over a week before they square off in the Ring of Fire match at SummerSlam. But this Monday for the first time, we see Bray Wyatt in one on one action!
What is going on between William Regal and Wade Barrett? After losing his match on Friday Night Smackdown, Barrett was irate, but was confronted by William Regal. Regal proceeded to tell Barrett he'd like to have a talk with him. What could this mean!?
And in the Main Event, the WWE Champion, John Cena will be going one on one with the World Heavyweight Champion, Alberto Del Rio in a Champion versus Champion match!
All this and more this Monday Night on RAW!

WWE Monday Night RAW 8/12/13
RAW opens up to a roaring crowd! Michael Cole, John Bradshaw Layfield, and Jerry Lawler welcome the fans to the show. They talk about tonight’s huge Main Event! This past week on Smackdown we saw Randy Orton take on Seth Rollins, and Rollins scored the huge upset! Now tonight on RAW, the two will go one on one again, but RAW General Manager, Brad Maddox has raised the stakes! It will now be contested under Extreme Rules! And to kick off tonight’s show we will see a Champion versus Champion match! WWE Champion, John Cena goes one on one with the World Heavyweight Champion, Alberto Del Rio! The bell sounds for the opening contest and Justin Roberts is in the ring ready to introduce the participants.
WWE Champion, John Cena vs. World Heavyweight Champion, Alberto Del Rio
John Cena’s theme hits and he comes out first to a roaring reaction! The WWE Champion makes his signature entrance. The announce team talks about the SummerSlam Main Event; Cena defends his WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan! Out next is the World Heavyweight Champion, Alberto Del Rio. He still looks angry from what happened on Smackdown. As he makes his way down to the ring, the announce team hypes up his SummerSlam Title defense against Christian. Alberto Del Rio taunts John Cena as he enters the ring. The referee goes to ring a bell, but an all too familiar voice tells him to wait a minute! Mr. McMahon walks out onto the stage and the crowd delivers a mixed reaction. Vince McMahon says that this Champion versus Champion match isn’t going to happen tonight. Mr. McMahon says he has officially just canceled this match! The fans erupt into boos.
No Contest
Vince says that these people do not deserve to see the two most prestigious Title holders to go one on one. He asks if they want to know why. Vince says he was embarrassed last week by Daniel Bryan! That’s why! The fans erupt into boos again. Vince tells them to boo all they want, but they can only blame Daniel Bryan and not him. John Cena is shown grabbing a microphone. He says he is having his match with Alberto Del Rio whether Vince likes it or not. Vince tells Cena he isn’t going to be wrestling Alberto Del Rio tonight at all, let alone anyone! Cena looks confused as Vince goes on to continue. Mr. McMahon tells Cena that he won’t be competing until this Sunday at SummerSlam. He has to focus on crushing Daniel Bryan! He has to focus on ruining Daniel Bryan. Cena shakes his head and tells Vince that isn’t how he handles his business. Vince tells him that’s how it is handled now. Mr. McMahon glares at Cena for a moment before turning around and heading backstage. Cena looks disappointed and exits the ring. He starts heading to the back. Cameras go back to Alberto Del Rio and he is on the microphone now. He says he should still get a match tonight! Alberto Del Rio says he wants to fight someone after what happened this past Friday. Del Rio turns around and Christian is there! Christian nails him with the Spear! Christian grabs the World Title and holds it up. The fans go nuts! RAW takes it’s first commercial break.

Back live! Mr. McMahon is walking backstage with a huge grin on his face. He heads down the hall toward his office. But before he reaches the door, Triple H approaches him. Triple H asks Vince what the Hell he is doing! Vince laughs and says he is running his show. Triple H says he is ruining it! Triple H asks how Vince could just cancel such a huge match. Vince says RAW is his show, and he does what he wants, when he wants. Besides, John Cena needs to focus on his WWE championship defense. Triple H yells that is a week from now! Vince shrugs and enters his office. Triple H goes to follow him in, but Vince shuts the door in his face. Triple H looks frustrated as cameras cut away.

Zack Ryder vs. Wade Barrett w/ William Regal
Zack Ryder comes out first to a decent reaction. Wade Barrett’s theme hits next. Wade Barrett walks out onto the stage. He waits for a moment and William Regal walks out with a confident look on his face. Wade Barrett walks down to the ring with William Regal flanking him. As they make their way down to the ring the announcers talk about how William Regal confronted Barrett after his loss this past Friday night. What does Regal want with Wade Barrett? Wade Barrett enters the ring and the bell sounds. Wade Barrett and Zack Ryder lock up! Barrett shoves Ryder down and tries to intimidate him. Ryder hops back up and lays into Barrett with strike after strike! Zack Ryder backs Barrett up into the corner. Barrett tries to fight out and goes for a big right hand, but Ryder moves out of the way. Zack Ryder runs to the ropes and as Barrett comes out of the corner, Ryder connects with a leaping clothesline! Barrett staggers up to his feet and Ryder grabs him and connects with a back suplex! Zack Ryder goes for the cover! 1, 2, kick out! Wade Barrett crawls to the corner and Zack Ryder calls for the Broski Boot! William Regal yells to Zack Ryder and the two begin to argue. The referee tells Regal to step back and he willingly does so. As Ryder turns around, Wade Barrett strikes him with the Bull Hammer! He hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!

Wade Barrett gets up and is announced the winner. William Regal enters the ring with a microphone in hand. He first congratulates Wade Barrett on his victory. William Regal says that he was something last week. He saw greatness, even in defeat. He says Wade Barrett is a star, and everyone is failing to see it! He says he is here to guide Wade Barrett to the promise lands. William Regal says that in a year for now, everyone will look at this moment as the greatest rebirth of a career in WWE history. William Regal raises Barrett’s hand and the two celebrate in the ring as RAW goes to break.

Damien Sandow vs. Rob Van Dam
Damien Sandow’s theme hits and he comes out first to a heavy reaction of boos. He has his Money in the Bank briefcase in one hand, and a microphone in the other. He raises the microphone to his mouth. He yells out “Silence!” The crowd boos him. Damien Sandow says that this past week on Smackdown he did his scouting on Cody Rhodes. He says he knew he could beat Cody Rhodes, but now he knows he will beat him for sure come SummerSlam. Sandow says his Money in the Bank contract is going nowhere, and that everyone has their eyes on a future World Heavyweight Champion. Rob Van Dam’s theme interrupts him and RVD comes out to an explosive pop! Rob Van Dam enters the ring and takes the microphone from Sandow. RVD says if Sandow is what he really says he is, and then he has to beat him here tonight to prove that he still has what it takes to be a Champion. RVD throws the microphone down and the bell sounds! We’re under way! They lock up! Sandow puts RVD in a head lock, but RVD slips out. Sandow throws RVD to the ropes. Sandow goes for a clothesline and RVD ducks out of the way. He comes back off the rebound and hits Sandow with a cross body! Sandow quickly gets up, but RVD hits a spinning heel kick taking Sandow back down! RVD goes for the first cover! 1, 2, kick out! Sandow gets up in the corner and RVD runs at him. RVD lowers his shoulder and hits a shoulder to the gut. He connects with another and another! RVD back flips then charges back at Sandow and hits a fourth shoulder gut! Sandow almost falls out of the corner, but he uses the ropes to keep himself up. Rob Van Dam grabs Sandow, but Sandow goes off his instincts and rakes the eyes. The fans boo. Sandow charges up at RVD and takes him down with a clothesline. Sandow goes down with him. Sandow hooks the leg! 1, 2, kick out! Damien Sandow grabs RVD’s leg to size it up. He drops a knee on it. Sandow continues to work on the leg of RVD to soften it up and make sure he can’t use his vertical offense. Sandow grabs RVD and puts him in a Boston crab! RVD yells in pain and reaches for the ropes. Sandow yells for him to tap out. RVD ends up rolling through! Sandow gets up and as RVD gets up, Sandow dives down and takes his leg out again! Damien Sandow taunts RVD and even does his signature taunt. The fans erupt into boos. Sandow calls for the Elbow of Disdain, but before he can hit it, Cody Rhodes’ theme hits! Sandow gets distracted and looks out toward the stage. But no Cody Rhodes! RVD gets up behind Sandow and rolls him up! 1, 2, 3!
Winner by pin fall: Rob Van Dam!
Rob Van Dam begins to celebrate his victory. Sandow blindsides him and starts attacking him. Cody Rhodes’ theme hits again and this time he really comes out! Cody rushes to RVD’s aid, and Sandow retreats. He grabs his briefcase and heads up the ramp. Cody Rhodes grabs a microphone and tells Sandow that he better have a tight grip on that briefcase now, because Sunday it will be his! Cody Rhodes’ theme hits again and he celebrates in the ring as cameras cut away.
Renee Young is backstage and she is standing by with the Divas Champion, AJ Lee. Renee goes to ask a question, but AJ snatches the microphone from her and tells her to scram. AJ looks glares into the camera and says that this Sunday at SummerSlam she is going to settle Kaitlyn down for good! AJ Lee says she has talked to RAW General Manager, Brad Maddox and it is official. AJ Lee versus Kaitlyn at SummerSlam. If AJ wins, Kaitlyn can no longer receive a shot at the Title as long as she is the Champion! AJ lets out her signature laugh and she walks off as RAW goes to commercial.

Back live! Michael Cole announces that later tonight we will hear from Daniel Bryan later tonight, how will he react after Mr. McMahon said John Cena has to ruin Daniel Bryan this Sunday? Still to come in the Main Event, Seth Rollins versus Randy Orton in an Extreme Rules match! The bell sounds for the next match up!
Bray Wyatt’s theme this. He walks out onto the stage leading Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. He turns to them and tells them something. The two Wyatt Family members turn and walk to the back. Bray Wyatt has a sinister grin on his face as he makes his way down to the ring alone!
Bray Wyatt vs. Sin Cara
Bray Wyatt waits in the ring as Sin Cara makes his way out. Sin Cara enters the ring and the bell sounds. Bray Wyatt and Sin Cara circle the ring. They lock up! Bray Wyatt strikes with a head butt! Sin Cara falls backward and Bray Wyatt charges at him and connects with an elbow! Sin Cara goes down. Bray Wyatt doesn’t go for the cover, instead he lifts him up and throws him into the corner chest first. Bray Wyatt hits Sin Cara’s head off the turnbuckle pad multiple times. The referee has to begin his 5 count, and Wyatt breaks at 4. Bray Wyatt grabs Sin Cara out of the corner and launches him by connecting with a gutwrench suplex! Bray Wyatt hooks the leg. 1, 2, kick out! Bray Wyatt laughs as Sin Cara kicks out. Bray Wyatt laughs and calls for the end. He makes short quick of Sin Cara as he connects with Sister Abigail! He hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!

He says that this Sunday Kane will finally “Follow the Buzzards!” Bray Wyatt drops his microphone and he goes to pose, but fire erupts at all four corners of the ring! Kane is shown on the titantron in a dark corridor. Kane says that this Sunday it will be like he is at home. He tells Bray Wyatt that he looks forward to the flames of Hell to make their home in the ring. Kane smirks and says that this Sunday, Hell will reign supreme. The Devil’s Favorite Demon will reign supreme. Bray Wyatt drops to his knees and yells to Kane while laughing. Kane glares at Bray Wyatt as RAW goes to commercial.

Daniel Bryan’s theme hits. He comes out to a massive reaction! Daniel Bryan walks down to the ring and grabs a microphone. Daniel Bryan asks if he is supposed to feel hurt. Is he supposed to feel hurt that Vince McMahon, the owner of this company, the man who built this empire doesn’t want him to succeed? The fans chant “NO!” Daniel Bryan says he agrees. He can care less with Vince McMahon says and wants. The fans explode into cheers. He says this Sunday his goal is to become the WWE Champion! The fans start a “YES!” chant. Daniel Bryan goes to say something else, but John Cena’s theme cuts him off. The WWE Champion makes his way down to the ring and grabs a microphone. Cena tells Daniel Bryan that his mind is focused on their match this Sunday. But he tells Daniel Bryan it isn’t his mission to destroy and embarrass Daniel Bryan. His mission is to defend the WWE Championship. Daniel Bryan says he can respect that, and he understands that Cena isn’t for what Vince McMahon said earlier tonight. Cena offers his hand out and Daniel Bryan shakes it. They show each other great respect and Cena exits the ring. Daniel Bryan’s theme hits and he celebrates in the ring. Up next is the Main Event, Seth Rollins and Randy Orton, Extreme Rules!

Extreme Rules: WWE Tag Team Champion, Seth Rollin vs. Randy Orton
Randy Orton comes out first to a huge pop. He has his Money in the Bank case in hand as he makes his way down to the ring. The Shield’s theme this and out comes Seth Rollins by himself. Both men look focused as Rollins glares at Orton from the crowd. Rollins hops the security barrier and enters the ring. The bell sounds. Orton and Rollins stare each other down then lock up! They stale mate and lock eyes again….
Closing Moments: Rollins throws a right hand, but Orton catches it and fires back with one of his own! Orton ends up clotheslining Rollins over the top rope and to the outside! Rollins crashes on the floor. Randy Orton doesn’t waste any time. He goes right after Seth Rollins. Orton picks Rollins up and bangs his head off the announce table. Rollins looks out of it and tries to get into the ring, but Orton catches him. Randy Orton goes to throw him into the steel stairs, but Rollins counters and sends Orton into them instead! Seth Rollins enters the ring. Randy Orton struggles to get up on the outside, but as he finally gets to his feet, Rollins suicide dives to the outside and he drills Orton! Seth Rollins lets out a yell and he taunts Orton. Rollins lifts Orton up and rolls him into the ring. He goes for the cover. 1, 2, kick out! Rollins shakes his head and heads to the outside. He looks under the ring and grabs a kendo stick. He enters the ring and swings away! Orton ducks under Rollins and goes for an RKO! Rollins shoves him away. Orton comes back with a clothesline! Randy Orton yells for Rollins to get up as he picks up the kendo stick. Orton swings away and gets Rollins in the gut! Rollins goes down to his knees and Orton goes to strike again, but Rollins catches the kendo stick and battles back to his feet. Rollins knees Orton in the gut, and Rollins grabs hold of the kendo stick! He hits Orton across the back! Seth Rollins throws the kendo stick down. The match has gone about 10 minutes now. Seth Rollins goes for avada kedavra! Orton catches him and spins him. Randy Orton strikes with the RKO! Randy Orton hooks the leg! 1, 2, 3!
