On July 15th, 2013, Jeff Jarret founder of TNA Wrestling, along with business partners Spike Cable Networks, bought controlling interest of the company from owners Energy International. Jarret was made President, in place of, then-president Dixie Carter, and began to systematically fire any employees brought in by the Carters, including Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and others. Jarret announced that TNA would be taking a hiatis from television broadcasts until Thursday, August 22, 2013, when, according him, "TNA will be Reborn". Over the next several weeks, many changes were announced for TNA's roster, and television and Pay-Per-View schedule. TNA Impact Wrestling, would go back to being called simply TNA: Impact, and TNA's secondary program Xplosion, which until then only aired on television in select countries, would be reworked into a full second show, airing on Saturdays. TNA's Pay-Per-View Schedule would be restored to it's full size, except for the months of October, November, and December, when Pay-Per-Views, along with weekly television spots, would be cut completely from the schedule. It was announced that TNA would still hold live "house shows" during these months, but that they would only be held bi-weekly, to allow wrestlers to rest and as much time with their families as they could during the holidays. It was also announced that All TNA championships would be vacated, and new champions crowned before or at Bound For Glory, which would be held Sunday, September 15, The new TNA roster was revealed on 08/10 2013, via a press conference by TNA President, Jeff Jarret. AJ Styles Austin Aries Samoa Joe Bobby Roode James Storm Eric Young Christopher Daniels Frankie Kazarian Sting Kurt Angle Abyss Jeff Hardy Adam Pearce Magnus Matt Morgan Joey Ryan Christian York Ken Anderson Elijah Burke Lucius "Consqeuences" Creed X-Division; Matt Sydal Jay Lethal Sonjay Dutt Jigsaw Low-Ki Ricochet T.J. Perkins PAC Teddy Hart Petey Williams Vixens; Angelina Love Madison Rayne Velvet Sky Gail Kim Daffney Sarita Awesome Kong Mickie James ODB Sara Del Ray Tag Teams; Motor City Machine Guns Latin American Xchange The Young Bucks The World's Greatest Tag Team London & Kendrick Jarret explained that the changes in roster came from a need to go back to what once made TNA great, and that he wanted to push TNA originals and lesser know, but talented wrestlers, and rely less on top level talent from other established companies. Jarret also announced the formation of the TNA Wrestling Academy, which would serve as TNA's central developmental service. Kurt Angle and Sting were announced as the C0-Head Trainers of the school. It was announced that the slogan of the TNA Wrestling Academy would be "The Future of Wrestling, Today."

TNA: Impact; 08/22 2013 Tennesse State Fairgrounds Arena; Nashville, TN
As Impact comes on the air, fireworks are going off all over the stage, ramp, ring, and rafters. As the fireworks end, the camera is pans over the crowd, all screaming and cheering.
As Jeff Jarret's music hits, the crowd explodes with cheers and chants of "Double J!". Jarret has a smile on his face as he finally comes through the curtain, holding a mic.
"I take it you missed me."
The fans break out into chants of "Welcome Back", which makes Jarret smile even more.
"I'll tell you it's good to be back. I've been gone for awhile. I didn't even recognize TNA when I came back. Biker gangs running wild, the tag division a shell of it's former self, and even the Knockouts' were not looking very well. I knew what had to be done. And so, I worked together with my new friends and business partners over at Spike TV, and I bought back my company. And now that a Jarret is once again running thing, you can bet TNA is going to be better than ever."
The fans break out into a "TNA" chant.
"Now, I don't wanna take too much time. I just came out here to say hi, and let you know that this New Beginning, is only the beginning. TNA will become bigger and better than it ever was before. But now, I'll hand it over to our announcers, and let's get this show on the road."
Jarret hands his mic to one of the sound crew and makes his way to the back, as the camera cuts to the announce team.
Mike Tenay: "Hi and welcome to TNA Impact, that's right, no more 'Impact Wrestling'. We are live tonight, here at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds Arena, formerly known as the TNA Asylum. Here is the home of TNA Headquarters, Nashville, Tennessee. I'm as Mike Tenay, as you all know, and my partner here is a man that many TNA fans will remember as the original color commentator here on Impact, Don West."
Don West: "Thanks Mike, it's great to be back in the announcers chair here on Impact. I missed this so much, and I can not think of any place better than the Asylum to start TNA's "New Beginning". This is where it all began. But most of all, I am glad to not have to listen to Taz's annoying voice every week,"
Mike Tenay: "Well Taz was an ok guy until he started hanging out with Aces & Eights, but they are gone now, and as Jeff Jarret put it, TNA is reborn. We have a great show do you tonight. we will crown a new TNA Knockouts' Champion, and we will have round 1 matches in the TNA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament. "
Don West: "Four Round 1 matches to be exact Mike. And, the Knockouts title won't be decides in just any match. it'll be decided in a 10-Knockout battle royal, with the entire division taking part."
Mike Tenay: "Well I'm being told that the first match is about to start, so we'll hand it over to Jeremy Borash to make the introductions."
Ken Anderson steps through the curtain as his music starts, chewing gum, with a smug look on his face.
Jeremy Borash: "Ladies and gentlemen, this match is scheduled for 1-fall and is a round 1 match in the TNA World Heavyweight Championship Tournament. Introducing first, weighing in at 248 lbs, from Green Bay Wisconsin, Mr. Anderson!"
Anderson gives Borash a funny look as he puts his hand in the air and a mic is lowered. Anderson: "Now, now, Jeremy. You should know by now that I am the only one who can Properly introduce the man who hails from GREEN BAY, WISCONSON............MR. ANDEEEERRRRSOOOOON!.............Anderson." With that, Anderson makes his way down the ramp and into the ring.
Mike Tenay: "Well, Anderson hasn't changed at all in his time off. He still has a bit of an ego."
Don West: "A bit? This guy has a bigger ego than Donald Trump."
Magnus steps through the curtain and makes his way to the ring with a serious look on his face. Jeremy Borash: "And introducing his opponant, from Docking, Norfolk, United Kingdom, weighing in at 240 lbs, 'The British Invasion' Magnus!"
Don West: "Is it just me, or does Magnus look more pissed off than usual. He usually has a smile on his face."
Mike Tenay: "I'd have to agree. He's staring holes through Anderson. Maybe this is a new, more determined Magnus."
Brian Hebner climbs into the ring as Anderson and Magnus circle each other. Hebner signals for the bell as the two men lock up.
Anderson quickly take advantage and transitions into a side headlock, which Magnus counters with a hammerlock. Anderson quickly makes it to the rope, and Hebner forces Magnus to break the hold. Anderson turns and punches Magnus in the face as soon as he breaks, causing Hebner to chastise him over not making a clean break. Anderson pushes Hebner out of the way and runs at Magnus, attempting to clothsline him, but Magnus ducks out of the way and before Anderson and turn around, grabs him and hits him with a german suplex. Mangus attemps a pin, but Anderson kicks at 1.
Don West: "Classic Anderson, taking every advantage his can get. Nice job."
Mike Tenay: "Oh come on. It was a cheap shot. Magnus broke the hold, and Anderson should have not thrown that punch. But I have to say, this match is looking pretty good so far. Both of these men are well versed in transition wrestling "
Magnus quickly gets to his feet and picks Anderon up. He irish whips him into one of the corners, and runs at him. Anderson gets his feet up and counters with a kick to the face. Magnus is knocked back from the kick, and Anderon climbs up to the second rope, and when Magnus turns around, hits him with a spinning DDT.
Mike Tenay: "my god. Did you see the impact of that DDT? I don't thing Magnus is gonna be getting up from that."
Don West: "I don't know, Magnus is a tough SOB. It may take more than a DDT to take him out."
Anderson i quick to cover Magnus, but only gets a 2 count. Anderson gets to his feet and begins to stomp the other man before he can get to his. He then picks Magnus up to his feet and hits him with a swinging neckbreaker. With Magnus down, Anderson climb to the top rope and attemps a senton bomb, but Magnus is able to get his knees up and Anderson lands directly on them.
Don West: "oooh, that had to hurt. You can already see the bruises on Ander's back, where Magnus' knees drove right into them."
Mike Tenay: "I think we're seeing a shift in momentum. Anderson was in control, but after that, I doubt he'll be controlling much of anything"
Magnus climbs to his feet and back into a corner, waiting for Anderson to get to his feet. He then runs at Anderson, hitting him with a Big Boot, and Before Anderson van even try and make it back to his feet, Magnus picks him up and hits him with a Mag Daddy Driver. Magnus covers Anderson for the 3 count, and Brian Hebner calls for the bell.
Jeremy Borash: "Ladies and gentles, your winner, by pinfall, Magnus!"
Don West: "I can't say that I'm surprised. As good as Anderson is, Magnus was just plain determined to win this match. I think Magnus has a good chance of winning this whole thing."
Mike Tenay: "I'd have to agree with that. Anderson tried his best, but Magnus was the better man tonight. I have a feeling it won't be long before Magnus has gold around his waist."
The rest of the show, which I had written last night, was deleted from my computer accidentally, and I do not have time to write it again. So, the rest of the show will be results only. I will have full matches written out next for Saturday's Xplosion show.
