I am forming a new political party, known as the Exceptionalist Party. This party will stand for making America Exceptional again. Now days, America is one of the worse nations on earth. Our education system sucks, our healthcare system sucks, we have one of the biggest wealth gaps in the first world.
We need to return to policies that once made up the greatest nation on earth...
We need to put the freedom of choice before all else, allowing people to live without government intervention, as long as others are not forced to live with their choices......So no government interference in marriage between consenting adults, no laws against drug use, but with harsh punishments for things like driving under the influence, no banning any food or drink, but no giving tax money to pay for healthcare for people who become unhealthy because of their diet.
The Exceptionalist Party promotes a mixed economy, with limited and regulated capitalism and socialism used in unison. Both the private sector and the government would be regulated to make sure that neither government nor corporations get too much control over the market. Bail outs would be banned, and failing companies would be allowed to die, so they can be replaced by smaller companies, which will grow and expand to take their place in the market. Subsidies would be limited to new technologies and advancements that can help the nation and her people, but no money would be given to companies just to allow them to cover their losses and line the pockets of their executives.
